Best foods for breastfeeding mothers
The greatest title in the world is the title of mother. It is because of the pain you bear to hurt a child, turning your blood into milk and giving it to the baby, and trying to raise the child to be useful to society in the future. You need to eat right during the very special period of your blood sugar, right? It is very normal for your body to go through various changes after childbirth. Many mothers experience their bodies getting a little bigger. So you might be wondering how to get a slim body again.

Black Patient; Jefferson Health Breast Cancer Surgeon's Joke About Me Losing My Nipple During Lumpectomy Surgery . Content Warning.
Friday, 17 November 2023 By: TB Obwoge I was 46-years old, when I found out that I had breast cancer. It was one of the scariest days of my life. I didn't have much of a support system, my family is large and splintered. They're a bunch of strangers that share some of the same DNA as I do, a lot of them don't share the same feelings about life's issues either.

This Too Shall Pass
Every time I think I know the lay of the land, things change. Mountains rise in front of me where I’m not expecting them. I lean forward, pushing my heels into the earth and hike upwards. The things I thought would bother me don’t seem so bad. The anticipated ick of chemo – no taste buds, bit of nausea, exhaustion, loss of more cranial peach fuzz – it seems okay… even, manageable. Truthfully, the anticipation of losing my hair was far worse than the actual head shaving experience. I’m getting used to things – sort of.

Perimenopause: Overwhelming. Mysterious. And a Bit Joyful.
It really catches any woman by surprise when it comes, and especially in pandemics and woeful economic times. Please know upfront that this article is not a rant, a complaint, or vents of frustration when it feels like some things turn to s!@t, even when you are not in cycle, and you are medically, physically, and emotionally fit otherwise. I need to point out that this article is part wisdom, part life-hack kind of advice, in order to help any Peri-menopausal woman to continue to be the viva that they are meant to be...on or off the dance floor (metaphorically speaking, as per the first image. Caveat: this is coming from wisdom, and not from any medical training or experience.) I also need to warn you that this article is a bit long, and within good reason. Why not make yourself a cup of herbal tea, or any other healthy beverage of your choosing, and get comfortable. Now let's dig in, because this is gold. Not to impress, but rather to impress upon; I wish I had a guide like this written up for me a short six months ago. It would have made the earlier days of my Peri-menopausal journey much smoother for sure.

Motherhood's complex Tapestry
The journey into motherhood is an emotional whirlwind that immerses women in a kaleidoscope of feelings. This life-altering experience brings forth profound love, unwavering presence, and, at the same time, a persistent longing for personal space, creating a complex, contradictory landscape of emotions. In this exploration of motherhood, I find myself reflecting on these emotional paradoxes and the intricate balance they demand.

The Process Getting a PCOS Diagnosis. Content Warning.
I am sure I speak for about 98% of women who have been confirmed diagnosed by doctors of PCOS that getting that damn diagnosis was a struggle that rivals stopping the apocalypse. And I am sure 100% of women who have a hormonal imbalance that causes weight gain have been basically told by the doctor to “just lose weight.”

PCOS = Painful Cramps On Steroids. Content Warning.
S.A Crawford wrote a vulnerable and revealing piece on her recent diagnosis of PCOS (otherwise known as, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). And the outreach of women who were all echoing the same sentiment that I did had me sitting with my eyes wide, and heart hurting. But also really proud of all the brave women who are willing to share their stories and the pains they endured to comfort Crawford and let her know she wasn't alone.
