CREATING LIGHT THE DARKNESS OVERWHELMS SOCIETY This is a poem I wrote today about a brief encounter with an old flame of yesteryear. It was a very brief encounter, but I left with PTSD in the subconscious that I had to express by writing about the brief encounter. There are covert narcissists and malignant narcissists. I get irritated and move forward to not give them control now or in the future. I forgive, but I do not forget. I am an empath.

something I think I saw in a dream
A strong coffee on an unusually sunny morning in fall Usually it's raining, so I take the chance to sit outside of the cafe on a little garden chair, a croissant set on the lopsided table in front of me. It's warm so I don't have to bundle up yet, that perfect time of year when you can still wear tank tops as orange leaves dance past you in the streets. A light breeze tousles my hair over my shoulder and I send a wave and warm smile to a group of elderly women I play cards with on Tuesdays
