all of nature calls out

the birds sing like they know my tale

the earth cries leaving no doubt

nature is speaking in braille

textures and touches tell a story

appearance and quality will weave

the power floods into the glory

making the doubters all believe

a raging fire in the making

a hidden face behind a mask

it gives freely what we are taking

when all we had to do was ask

destroying beauty without effort

blending the colors as they bleed

drowning in miles and miles of desert

completely consumed by our greed

begging for more while life is fading

blinded to what we have become

we are the monsters in the making

trading our souls for kingdom come
