Why You Should Never Go On a Date if You Fear Dying
A few years ago I was working at my hotel on a quiet Sunday morning. An extremely attractive man, think Bradly Cooper hot, came over from the restaurant to steal some of the lobby coffee. He was super hot, I wasn't going to stop him. I started my friendly customer service chatter "Good morning, how are you?" with some fake smiles and laughs. We had friendly banter for a few minutes. As he was walking away I said, "Have a good day!" He stopped and came back to the desk. Apparently, that was a trigger of some kind. He asked me how old I was (22 at the time) and told me I "didn't look a day over 16." Red flag #1. He then went on to tell me how beautiful I was and asked if he could take me to dinner. I said "yes" against better judgment. Again, you do not say "no" to Bradly Cooper's twin. You just don't. He stayed for awhile and went and sat on the edge of the front desk. He looked at me and said, "Ask me what I'm doing," so I did. His response was "Staring at you." Red flag #3. He left and 15 minutes later I walked into the office to look at my phone. I had received two text messages and voicemail from him saying "He'd never felt this way about anyone." Red flag #4 with big flares!

My Worst Date
Everybody, and I mean everybody, has a worst date story. Maybe the person was boring, or was into some strange things, or maybe they were rude. Whatever the reason was, it was the worst date you'd ever been on. This person could have been a blind date your best friend set you up on, or maybe you met this person on an online dating site, or maybe this person was charming at the bar, but a bore on the date. For me, my worst date was a man I met on Tinder. Tinder of all places, and since then I've boycotted going on dates with men from Tinder.

#MyWorstDateStory
I accepted a request from a guy online and agreed to meet him at our local food shop. I brought my sister with me to be on the safe side. At first meeting, he wasn't a bad guy, but as time passed we continued to see each other. He would meet me at my sister's and we would either go out to do something or just simply stay in at my house or his.

Tinderfella
My worst was about two and a half years ago. I decided to sign up for Tinder and see what happened. Well, I got a lot of messages asking for hookups and very few guys who could actually hold a conversation. There was this one guy, cute as they come—we had what seemed like a great connection and he seemed like a lot of fun. He was that nerdy kind of cute that doesn't come around too often. We talked for a couple months before I felt comfortable enough to meet him in person.

#MyWorstDate
Everyone has had a terrible date at some point in their life. Someone more engrossed in their phone than with you, a mouth breather, horrific body odor. You get the drift. Everyone has these horror stories and has swapped them with friends over drinks, laughed, and shuddered together while reliving these memories and proclaiming you've had the worst date over your friends.

#MyWorstDate
Once upon a time, there were two teenagers who were madly in love. They went on dates to the movies, concerts, spent time with each other’s family (quite a bit actually). The problem was, they were never really ALONE. So one night, the two teenagers decided to take the girls dads station wagon and park in a overlook parking lot. It was just them and the sunset. It was the perfect date. They brought a laptop and were watching movies. One movie turned into 3 and they were just enjoying the quiet. A kiss here and there and maybe a make out for a minute.

#MyWorstDate Story...We're Closer Than You Think
I got a friend request on Instagram. When I noticed that we had a few mutual friends, I accepted him. I accepted him mainly because I thought he was cute, not because we have the same friends. Don’t you ever stalk new followers? I always do, and I did to this guy. The more I looked at his posts, the more I was attracted to him. He had this facial structure that was so chiseled, he made the Statue of David look like a phony. And he had these eyes that were a bit darker than mine. Wait, then I came across one of his shirtless posts—he accepted my requestand immediately DMed me. And that’s where everything sailed off.

My Worst Date Story: The One Where His Cousin Almost Beat Me Up
Don't worry, there is a bit of a happy ending to this horror story. And though it's not completely filled with lighthearted funny moments, I find that discovering the humor in this scenario to be extremely therapeutic. Plus, there are a few hilarious visuals that my friends and I still laugh about today.
