Introduction I've been fascinated by roleplaying games since childhood. I remember looking longingly at the covers of early Dungeons and Dragons adventure modules in the hobby store on the military base where I grew up, and wishing I could be old enough to play such a game, to enter into a dark world of magic and sorcery, dark monsters and weird and beautiful realms; to adventure and rescue princesses, fight dragons, collect treasure, and use magic. I was hooked on the stuff--or, at least the idea of what it represented to me, a world of fantasy and fear, wonder and escape.

If you want to kill Greylorm and unlock the legendary schematics, you must first complete the prerequisite tasks of collecting USBs. Once you're done, open the map and find the storm. Zoom in and search the area around the storm for two adjacent ammunition depots. This is where you need to go. In the game you can find two specific locations where ammunition depots are clearly visible. Near these ammunition depots you will find several stations. Approach these sites and you will see a message stating "Refractor needs to activate Eepa Storm".

Can Anyone Make the "Perfect" Extraction Game?
This is a genre of videogame that has had a tumultuous lifespan over the more recent years. The idea of an extraction-focused video game sounds incredibly interesting on paper. You gear up with whatever is available to you in your stash or from a variety of vendors, you either go in solo or round up your friends and see what kind of chaos you can get into. Hopefully, and ideally, no one dies and everyone in the party can loot up and extract together. That doesn’t usually happen, but it’s the best feeling when it does. But this style of game is usually much more complex than just load in, loot, and get out. There are tons of systems, mechanics, knowledge checks; everything that allows these games to be on a surface level, relatively inviting for new players to experience, while at the same time, having a level of depth that is discovered once a few hours are put into the game. And while some are better at this than others, the entire genre of extraction-based games, whether they are shooters or melee focused, all have a similar gameplay loop. And said loop, when done correctly can be heavily addictive once it clicks and you get into it. But that’s where the crux of this entire conversation stems from; the lack of many coherent games that have nailed down this specific style of gameplay loop. Obviously, the biggest game to get this right is Escape From Tarkov. But because of this game’s success, many others have dipped their toe into the same water just to experience making that type of game, or game mode is like. Some have created an interesting game with this loop that warrants playtime and experiencing the world for what it is. And others, while on the right track, were missing some key components that give this genre the feelings that can be evoked by the player when done correctly. So, the main question of today’s video is, can anyone create the “perfect” extraction-based game? We’ll look at some examples of games and modes that are out, what they’ve done right, and what could be improved upon and figure out an answer from there. Left Shoulder Shooting is Coming to Tarkov
What has been one piece of advice you’ve heard in your times playing Tarkov? Something that is universally said across the board because it is so powerful it can make or break fights depending on the situation. That is, to do your best in taking fights with a right-sided peek. What this means is approaching a wall, or whatever piece of cover is in front of you and leaning to your right, thus exposing the smallest amount of your body as possible. Which will help in keeping you alive. Anyone who has triple digit hours in the game usually says this to people who are newer and looking for ways to die a little less often. And while this advice is sound, I have always been under the notion that these situations can be avoided entirely by playing more from range whenever possible, Obviously, if you’re low level and don’t have access to any scopes or the flea to get scopes, that’s fair. But not allowing yourself to be put into those situations where a peek can make or break a fight is usually my preferred advice. But all of that is about to potentially change. Because BSG with the winter patch is adding the ability to quickly put your weapon against your left shoulder and shoot from an entirely new angle. This could remove Tarkov’s weirdest quirk of the game which is the advantage of being always on the right side. Now, with the ability to shoulder your weapon to the left, you will be able to take fights from more unconventional angles and approach the game with an entirely new lense to it. There are so many major changes coming to us in the winter patch, which is quickly approaching. And it’s hard to discern which one might have the greatest impact. But my hope is that this update is something people really take advantage of, instead of being one of those cool additions that kind of gets forgotten about, which has happened before in the past. Tarkov's New Armor Hitboxes Will Also Change the Game
So, we talked about how vaulting coming in the winter patch for Tarkov will be massive, but there is another change coming to the game that arguably might be more directly impactful than the streamlined mobility. Because if mobility is a core component to Tarkov, then armor and how it works is the cornerstone next to weapons and shooting. Armor has always been a point of contention because of how complex its systems and mechanics are in general. Different classes or armor, types, materials, repairability; this system is almost too complex for its own good. A lot of people are immediately intimidated by the armor system in Tarkov, and it’s understandable as to why. Different materials, classes, repair types, protection zones. Not to mention repair kits versus using your own money to repair. And when is it worth repairing an armor or to just throw it out. The game already has enough of a complicated system. But these changes might take things to a level that becomes untenable. It’s too early to say anything concrete, so let’s just go over what was shown to us and take it from there. There is a ton to absorb and look at from the short video we were given.

Vaulting is Going to Change Tarkov
With the latest TarkovTV podcast under wraps, we got a good inside look into what’s coming for the immediate future of the game. There are tons of changes and updates coming that have people generally excited for the winter patch of 2023. However, there were a few things that in particular got me very excited and began to wonder how Tarkov is going to shift in terms of its general gameplay and how it feels. For now, we will be going over one of these two major changes in this video and go over the other in a follow up later. The first major update being out ability to move in Tarkov and more specifically, vault and mantle over obstacles now instead of always having to jump over them. The second is the complete overhaul of how armor works in the game and the advanced hit boxes for those zones. It’s difficult to explain how massive of a change this will be to the game, so let’s just go over the movement and how it is right now, and then compare it to what it could be like with the addition of vaulting.
