PS5 CONSOLE RELEASE REVIEW
The PS5, Sony’s long-awaited next-generation console, was released this week (in select markets). Games available with launch include Horizon Forbidden West, Demons Souls, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. With backwards compatibility with thousands of titles in the PS4’s game library, there is plenty to choose from. PS5 releases will be region-free. If the cross-gen COD Black Ops Cold war is unplayable, make sure to change the version before attempting to play. For other issues with PS4 games, make sure you have use the ‘restore license’ option in the ‘other’ user account settings. Sony has also patented a VR headset for future launch that will partner with this new console.

Ubisoft Confuses Fans By Incorrectly Detailing What PS4 Games Will Be Playable On PS5
Ubisoft: The fifth largest publicly traded game company in Europe and America, and also in recent times, one of the most controversial and worst companies in the video games industry. Involved in several lawsuits, as well as numerous instances of sexual misconduct, sexism, employee abuse and toxic workplace culture, Ubisoft has had a bad rap and is regarded mostly with disgust and contempt. Often filling their games with mindless grind and pointless filler, such as finding feathers in Assassin's Creed II, Ubisoft's latest blunder is incorrectly naming PS4 games that won't work on the PS5.

It's all about the money
In 2020, gaming is saturated with battle royales, MOBAs and pay-wall games – you can’t go four or five YouTube videos without seeing an advert for Raid: Shadow legends these days (or there’s always Albion Online). Modern Warfare: Warzone back in August reached 75 million players in less than 6 months of release; Modern Warfare was estimated to be making around $2000 per minute back in June 2020. The current success of battle-royales is huge, now more and more people are being introduced into gaming through them. It is no wonder the worth of the industry is inflating by almost 10% every year. I would think gaming started its turn probably around the same time the first iPhone was released (2007-2008). The internet moved to our pockets – the opportunity of monetisation skyrocketed – this influenced the video game industry.

5 Reasons To Hold Off On The New Consoles
With over thirty years of knowledge and patience in the gaming world, I believe it's time to impart some "wisdom" into the world. I have been privileged over the years to see a particularly fast evolving branch of technology. Its advances and applications are spread wide and far but one of the most common is in video game culture. Familiar names like Atari, Sega, and Nintendo filled mall arcades and home consoles. I was a child of the nineties myself and had the 32-bit Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo and while they were great at passing the time and entertaining the mind I was never truly impressed with their graphical or technical achievements.

My Review of "NBA 2k20"
NBA 2k20 was a highly anticipated game because I loved NBA 2k19. Admittedly I only really played the career mode of the game. I'm also basing this whole review off of the career mode of 2k20 as well. I have played quick games and generally they're very similar and I didn't find too many differences but then again I'm a casual gamer. As a casual gamer 2k19 made more sense than 2k20.

Sony finally lifts the veil on the PS5. We still have some questions, though.
Well, Sony has finally let the cat out of the bag... Sony finally blessed us by unveiling it's entry into the upcoming battle for console gaming supremacy on a Thursday afternoon live webcast. At long last, the aesthetics and physical form of the long anticipated Playstation 5 console was revealed, though the producers of the event saw fit to tease us with glimpses of it's form throughout the presentation. The bulk of the presentation, however, was centralized around some of the upcoming games coming out on the platform. Before we get any further down the rabbit hole, let's take a look at some of the proposed specs on the platform:

My personal story with Street Fighter II
My personal story with Street Fighter II starts back in 1991. At the time Street Fighter II:World Warrior had just come out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). My friends were all into it and I was excited but couldn't afford to play with them at the arcades. I didn't particularly see the appeal to the game but I was young and impressionable.

OG Gamers
I was born in 1983. It was still rare to find someone with a gaming system in their home. My parents had a Kalico Vision & Atari. I spent a lot of time playing Pit Fall as a toddler. This was my first time with electronic games as a form of entertainment. Then my parents bought a Nintendo system. I remember being over the moon about it as far as there being color and such. We had the cartridge that played Mario Bros., Duck Hunt & Olympics(The grandfather to pad style controllers). I played all three of them and loved the slight upgrade of them. It was a huge leap for me as a young kid. My dad wasn't home a lot as he was a fireman at the time, but when he was we would play video games together.
