The Ostara (Easter) Feast
Ostara, otherwise known as the Spring Equinox, is on March 19th to 20th. It's the time where light and dark are balanced. As the Lord's strength increases, the Lady celebrates her fertility, life begins anew, and it's time to plant seeds, flowers, and work on your garden. It is also said to be the time that Persephone comes back from the Underworld to her mother. The Christians adopted this celebration as Easter and it is widely commercialized today as a mass celebration. No matter what tradition you celebrate, this is a time to celebrate with friends and family, possibly a few chocolaty treats as well.

Fettuccine Alfredo With Savory Meatballs
A long time ago I was in a quandary about what to make for dinner. You know, that moment when you run out of ideas and you have used up the 365 different ways to prepare hamburger, pork chops, and Thanksgiving turkey!? Well, I had always made meatballs with tomato sauce and I love fettuccine so I put the two of them together and made my own sauce from scratch, only the alfredo instead of tomato. Yes, I know, it seems like a rendition of spagettie and meatballs but, it's a whole new fettuccine when you add the meatballs.

Pizza
Pizza was named as a poor man’s food, as you can probably tell by the ingredients (flour, water and yeast) being so simple and cost effective. But, let me tell you the history first. It first started in Napoli. It was first just a basic flat bread with any veg, meat, or fish they can get their hands on or afford, but Raffaele Esposito got asked to make one for Queen Margarita back in the day and so he made one, representing the Italian flag by using tomato for the red , basil for the green, and mozzarella for the white. In the end the queen loved it, so they called it the famous Margarita pizza and from then it still goes on now.

Low Fat White Chocolate Honey and Banana Bread Recipe
Us Brits don't do so well in the snow! We know it's coming because it does so every winter, mainly in February, and yet the country still goes into a standstill. You often see people stocking up on milk and bread and when I say stocking up, I mean trolleys full! I am definitely not one of those people. I know it will be over soon enough and until then I will make snowmen and snow angels and be happy we actually have some snow in this country! But... I am in desperate need of some cat litter! My corner shop has ran out and I refuse to brave a long walk in the thick snow with a toddler and a Newborn!! Days like today make me extremely thankful for Amazon Prime. Otherwise, the cats will just have to have crossed their legs! I wonder if they'll actually get here in the snow?

Cold Winter Nights and Hot Pudding Cake
Getting your recipe prepared... Simple and Delicious Cold Winter Nights and Hot Pudding Cake The day began with a gray coating of thin clouds and barely a slice of sunshine. Children donned their winter jackets and heavy boots. The temperature outside froze at 11 degrees. The streets were barren because no one wanted to leave the warmth of their homes for a silly trip to the grocery store. It was a day like no other.

Low-Calorie Greek Turkey Meatball Gyros Recipe
It's only Tuesday today and I'm having a bad week already! Does anybody else have constant nagging thoughts in their head? My mum passed away almost two years ago now and I'm starting to really struggle without her. When she was alive people walked all over her because she was such a giving and loving person and I feel a lot of the time that she's still being disrespected in death. I suppose the only way I'm going to feel better is to express and share these feelings with the people involved but to top these thoughts off, my kids keep playing a game of who can out scream each other! If anybody has a headache, you can guarantee it is me!
