Afternoon Tea
How civilised it must have been when Afternoon Tea was a delightful little ritual to participate in, at three or four, in the English home. Nowadays it's a treat and this menu is slightly more elaborate or substantial than just a slice of seed cake or buttered muffin with tea! However, when you only make the effort once in a blue moon, there is certainly excuse to lavish several of the variants in a single sitting! It is a nice get together to organise between friends and family, maybe sharing out the different elements of the 'tea' so the workload isn't put upon one individual making the whole experience relaxing for all. Here is a menu for inspiration and a few recipes and tips to help you on your way to the perfect Afternoon Tea!

The World of Cheese
Health Benefits Helps prevent cavities:Cheese has very high amounts of calcium. Calcium is a key factor for having strong teeth. Cheese also has low amounts of lactose, believe it or not. Lactose can actually be harmful to teeth. Fun Fact: older cheese has less lactose in it then younger cheese. Cheese prevents cancer: Cheese has Conjugated Linoleic Acid and Sphingolipids in it, which is helpful in preventing cancer. Cheese also has Vitamin B which helps body function and helps fight disease. Strong Bones: Cheese contains Vitamin B and a lot of calcium which is good for bone structure. Eating cheese while pregnant or breastfeeding is good for the baby as it makes their little bones strong. Also, consuming Calcium and Vitamin B is recommended for elderly people because they tend to have brittle bones. Prevents Hypertension: Now, for you that don’t know what hypertension is, it's when you have high blood pressure. If you are hypertensive, sodium and cholesterol are bad and you must be careful choosing the cheese you eat. Cheese with high-fat levels are more popular since they are more delicious, but due to health concerns low-fat cheese is starting to be introduced.

Moon Under Water Pub
There I was, rolling down Cook street and gazing through the blue hue of my motorcycle helmet's visor, looking straight into the soft fog while I listened to Red’s engine roar. At that moment, while we rode down the street, it felt like we were cowboy and horse off on our next adventure. Well…maybe not so dramatic, but every time Red and I head out in search of a burger, I feel like we are inseparable, like coffee and cream, New York and Mr. Trump, or those two love-birds from the Titanic.

Yuletide Recipes
Yule is traditionally a three day celebration over the Winter Solstice where friends and family come together to celebrate community and the return of the sun god. During this time people feast, swap presents, dance, drink, and party until the holiday is over. This Pagan and Wicca holiday traces back to Roman time when the people would strip themselves of their clothing and have a three day party in the street; although, these days we prefer to keep our clothing on.

Blessed Be Thy Pretzel. Top Story - December 2017.
Ahhh, pretzels. Undeniably the most popular party snack and an absolute staple of modern-day American mall food. Restaurants serve them as appetizers and main dishes, and hell, there are even entire companies based around the production of pretzels, whether they be bagged or handmade at a stand in their one of their many forms. They can be crunchy or doughy, big or small, salted or unsalted, covered in cinnamon or covered in cheese—as a food, they are an absolute marvel.
