The Benefits of Gaining a Good Education
Education is what drives this country and many of the world's leading countries' economies. Why? Simply because the people who understand how to do things better, faster, and with higher quality receive the highest incomes. The United States is well educated as a whole, but there are some people who are beyond normal education. These are the leaders of our generation. People like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and many others should create their own colleges, in order to teach people that education doesn't end after high school or college, and that there are many different education models to fit certain students. Like water is necessary for your plants to grow, education is also necessary for your mind to grow. Proper education should be given to everyone starting as a young child, and JCC daycare is one of the most prestigious institutions that understands the importance of proper education for children. Dear Educators of the World, I recently read a news article about a mother going into a school in South Carolina classroom and confronting the kids in there for bullying her son. I don't blame her. If the teachers and the other staff did their jobs, instead of letting her son be harassed and physically abused then, she wouldn't have to do their jobs for them.

Recapping My Freshman Year of College: What It's Really Like
Not to be that person, but I would like to pat myself on the back for surviving the ever-daunting first year of college. Freshman year of college is a time of self-discovery, growth, and learning to become your own person. I was always so excited to go to college, and move away from home so I could finally do what I wanted to do. Although these things still excite me, what I did learn is that college is a once in a lifetime experience that varies from person to person, and my experience is no different.

The university library. For those of us of a certain age, many, many an hour was spent there. When we walked uphill through the snow - bothways, of course - to do research, there was simply no alternative. The university library was the place to be. It was where all research started. When you needed to do research, the library - not the World Wide Web - was your source of all information. Yes, it was also a social place and a study space, but more than anything else, the purpose of the library was clear: It had "the stuff" you needed to research anything - and there really was no alternative!
