The Stranger Next Door (Pt. 3)
It was the morning after the night before and I felt like death. I could hear the voices of my friends downstairs as I struggled to enter the waking world. How they had the energy to still be giggling like children, I will never know. I could hear the kettle boiling, no doubt somebody was making tea and coffee for the sore heads in my living room. The thought of caffeine helped me lift my heavy head from the pillow and drag myself downstairs.

My best friend, Emilia, immediately jumped up on our kitchen counter, in order to try and see out of our window, over the fence, and into his. On her knees on our draining board, craning her neck, she still couldn't see. Next thing I knew she was standing on our windowsill behind the kitchen sink. I'm pretty sure the amount of alcohol and weed she had taken in had made her feel like this was a good idea.

[Wife] My emotions were running high. My hands shook uncontrollably as a gripped the bottles of petrol and caustic soda. I took a deep breath. I wanted to hurt him, like he had hurt me. I wanted him to feel the pain I endured every single day from his physical actions, his abuse and even his presence. I was at breaking point. Creeping up the stairs to where Deepak was sleeping, I felt powerful. The past months of my marriage with him I was constantly low, sad, and depressed. This was my way of fighting back because I suddenly felt capable. Standing in our bedroom, watching him sleep, it felt strange. It felt strange being in the same room as him and not feeling scared or powerless for a few seconds. I knew this was only because he was sleeping; he wasn’t the slightest bit aware. I unscrewed the lid of the Napalm mixture I had made and didn’t think twice before I began pouring the liquid over him. It was relieving. The touch of the liquid on his body woke him and it rushed me into fumbling with the lighter before he could grab me and hurt me more. Like a firework, his body burst into tiny flames, spreading to the sheets and covers on the bed. The flames became a protective barrier between my abuser and I.

Can You Tell the Difference Between an Organized or Disorganized Serial Killer?
Many think that there is only one type of serial killer out there, the murder-a-large-amount-of-people-in-a-specific-way kind, and that's true. There are those kinds of killers, but they are categorized into two types, organized and disorganized. Now some of you might be thinking What does organization have to do with murder? or How does knowing that help catch a murderer? though if you're really observant of the world around you than you will understand where I am coming from when I said organized and disorganized serial killers. Let me explain to those who are actually curious about something like this — especially the more cautious people of this world, killers like John Wayne Gacy, the Zodiac Killer, Jeffery Dahmer, or even Jack the Ripper are all the "famous" serial killers we've heard stories about, each having their own method to their murders, except they had one thing in common — they were all organized murderers.
