The problem with being a nice person. Top Story - May 2024.
Who would have thought that being a nice person could be problematic. The majority of people would tell you that’s what they want to be or at least want those around them to be, but as it turns out, what we want and what we say we want are worlds apart. I won't stress or ramble on about how I would like things to be, but I’ll just analyze why this is, I am not sure either if a solution is even possible.

The Longest Language Journey Back. Top Story - May 2024.
When you have a godawful experience for years (perhaps French lessons) and need to write about it as part of the healing process and already you feel parts of your cognitive machinery trying to “clean it up” (guess it’s French lessons) for public viewing by default since it’s likely to make some toes curl up (sorry, but definitively French lessons.)

The day I became ruthless (fiction)
There are a handful of events that can drastically change a person’s life from being a loving, kind-hearted being to a cold and ruthless being. When I meet ruthless people, I always wonder what their backstory could have been, because I don’t think they were born that ruthless, cold, and mischievous, like every villain. they must have had a series of events or a specific one that pushed them over the edge and turned them into what they are.

I’ll Give You A Pass
Friday, October 31st, 2003. I’m in my 5th grade chorus class at Glenwood Elementary around 9am in the morning. Now me being me I was definitely getting on my music teacher’s last nerve, like I always did around that time. So in a routine fashion she sent me to the corner of the room to what you basically could say was a timeout. At some point during this timeout I found myself falling fatigue as my classmates were singing and playing instruments. It’s not uncommon for a kid to fall asleep in class, especially when they are as lazy as me, but it is a bit alarming when the kid isn’t waking up when the adult are desperate trying to wake him.
