I have always been a very private person. Most often I kept my feelings and thoughts to myself. I’d rather listen than speak. Ask me to speak in public and I'd break out in hives.

A Treasure Chest Of Traditional Tales
I fell in love with the written word when my parents would read me bedtime stories. The Disneyfied versions of Cinderella and Snow White were fine, but when I discovered the collection of traditional Finnish fairy tales, I was hooked.

The Safe House
Emily stared at the waves lapping the shore. The rising tide inched closer, and she had to avoid contact with the toxic water. Soon the passageway would close, cutting her off the mainland. With no food and only a two litre bottle of clean water left, she had to leave the island where she had hid since the discovery of their safe house.
