Monday morning chores
Well, another Monday morning and it's chore day for me. Usually, the first easy chore to do is to make my coffee and empty the dishwasher. After that it all depends on what I feel needs done. Laundry is started and after sharing this short article decided to vacuum the living room furniture and rugs followed by dusting the furniture. The beds have already been made, and the dogs have been walked and fed even though that everyday chore which is not really a chore is the first to be done. Who has a particular day for their chore day?

What is art?
What is art? Art to me is a way of expressing one's ideas through image. Whether through photography, sculpture, water or oil paintings or maybe through just plain doodles with pen and pencils, or maybe as I do with coloring. Art is a way of showing and even reflecting one's feelings over a period of time. One learns technique and if viewing the classics on may learn history too. There is also language and music in one's art to, but one has to be open to receive the message that the artist wants the viewer to see and hear. Comment.

More of my Color Art
The following pieces of 'color art' for that is what I call my pieces of art. They are drawings from adult coloring books and in the future some children's coloring books that I color for mainly relaxation and creativity. The mediums I use are mainly crayons and colored pencils and at times magic markers. At any time, you can leave your comments on my work for I would really like to know what you think. Whether on the technique or just on what you feel and see in the images. One of my favorite hobbies to do at times.

A Sad Fourth of July
In a place where there used to be picnics, fireworks and many people now there is nothing but rotting picnic tables and shelters falling down where the people used to watch the fireworks. No one knows what really happened or why it just seemed to just stop. Could it have been that there were just too many rules or was it just too expensive to continue. No one really knows. The Fourth of July a day of excitement and fun is now only a memory of days gone by no longer a day of fun, but one can still remember.
