The Five Heroes
I can't believe it. I can't believe that he's really really doing. Get me the President. Never in my life did I think this mad man would do what he's done. He is really plotting to destroy whatever life we have left. Think of all the people, think of all the lives. I cannot stand by another minute and watch him tear this world apart. No not on my watch as Secretary-General. It is time to aligned forces. It is time to bring the team together. We must stop this man right in his tracks. And Secretary-General Abel made the order for the team to get together as he was talking nonstop to diplomats around the world including the President of the United States. One sunny day, Mrs. Reef was teaching class to a group of high schoolers. She was a good teacher who learned her craft. She was planning her lifelong dreams and spending more time with family. And that's when she got the called. It was a strange one 800 number. And they kept calling her until her husband pick up. And he got a hold of Mrs. Reef as soon as he could. Mrs. Reef made no promises but she listen. One thing she was good at was listening. And she had listening skills sharper than a fox. And she asked the usual questions how important and what if she can't. She wanted to know the gravity of the situation. She could not make any promises because the team hasn't gotten together in such a long long time. And many have move on. Mrs. Reef was the captain and she contacted the second in command Ms. Olive. Ms. Olive worked with Mrs. Reef for several years and they consistently made progress. After meeting with her about the issue, they tried to figure out how to get the other three. It happened Mrs. Johns watched the news and the big announcement from the President and Secretary-General. Mrs. Johns had the mother's touch and she knew how to sense when necessary is necessary. She was willing to fight even if it means leaving her comfort. She was ready and sharp. She did not want another minute to pass by without trying to save the world. Now it was three but the other two. Mrs. Johns figured out a way to get Mr. CT who was a jack of all trades. Mr. CT could fix anything. He could just read and see videos and could get the job done in less than a hour. He was an owner of a mechanic and he settled for managing and working on automobiles. He loved his life but when the three showed up, he knew it was time to get saving the world. Mrs. Johns led the way she knew Mr. CT because they were afterall colleagues and business partners. Mr. CT was resistant at first but when he saw the gravity of the issue he was compelled. He was fire up along with the other three. Ms. A was the last one and she was not totally convinced but she felt called to do. She was always called to interactive video games and she liked the action and fun. Then Mr. CT convinced her to join and she was hesitated then she joined after she saw the need for her. And so the five heroes were together. And now on saving the world. So the five heroes called the Secretary-General office and the offer their assistance. The Secretary-General said it is a potential threat. And they asked questions to find out the severity of the situation. Mrs. Reef suggested with the others to spy and questions. Mrs. Johns said get it on camera. Mr. CT says you got to play the cards. Ms. A says to gamble with him. Ms. Olive says to play back and forth until you get to the bottom of it. Then the President of the United States came in on the call and introduced herself Mrs. Cleveland. And she interviewed the five heroes and asked them about their input. The President offered to give them a medal of freedom each if the plan works. So the Secretary-General tried the plan at first the plan was shaky but the five heroes were on the line typing what to say to the Secretary-General's office. And after some hours of ranting by the foe, he revealed his plan. The Secretary-General offered to meet the demands in exchange for peaceful means. And after the call ended, the military called the Secretary-General who located the dictator and the five heroes won without a single conflict or battle. The four heroes shouted out loud when they found out that they averted the conflict that Girls rule. And they celebrated and Mr. CT coughed. And they said oh yeah Girls and Guy rule. Mr. CT said The Five Heroes Rule. And they celebrated with the rest of the world quietly at that moment awaiting a bigger celebration within the months of defeating the dictator. After several months, the five heroes welcome to the White House and each given a medal for years of tireless effort to advocate peaceful means.

The Saving Knowledge
It was Sunday like always in Mrs. Albertine's Classroom and the children were eager to learn. They wanted to know why it was important to be saved. They wanted to know why salvation was important apart of life. And so they bombarded Mrs. Albertine with questions. They did not know how prepared and well spoken Mrs. Albertine was. She was an older teacher and she had lived her life teaching about what it means to be saved as her family were missionaries. Mrs. Albertine began with easy and she said Do you know about George Washington? And the class all knew. He was baptized as an infant and, while his adult religious beliefs were complex and sometimes ambiguous, he continued to attend services, was biblically literate, and used language that indicated belief in the Christian God, including a phrase that affirms Jesus's divinity. Washington's hero was Jesus Christ even throughout all his ordeal with constant sickness. He believed that Jesus Christ was the way, truth and life. And the class looked in awe. She went on What about Abraham Lincoln? and the class wondered. Abraham Lincoln never officially became a Christian by joining a church, but his faith deepened over time, particularly during the Civil War, and he expressed a growing belief in a divine plan. His faith was influenced by grief, the Bible. Lincoln loss his mother at an early age which dampened his faith. Lincoln had a hard life but he counted his blessings along the way and he believed that God was a comforter. What about Harriet Tubman? And the class wondered. Tubman became a devout Christian through her religious upbringing, an injury in her youth that caused visions she believed were from God, and her deep study of the Bible. She did not let nothing set her back not afflictions not even being born as a slave. She fought because she believed that God had a purpose for her. She dedicated her life to helping others. What about Frederick Douglass? Frederick Douglass became a Christian through a profound, personal conversion as a teenager, fueled by his desire to read the Bible and guided by a spiritual mentor named Mr. Lawson. He was taught to read by a slaveholder's wife and later encountered a Black lay preacher who awakened him to prayer, but it was through his friendship with Mr. Lawson that he developed his faith and hope for freedom. Douglass was curious about God even born in slavery and he did not regret learning the Bible at an early age and learning it over and over again. And being a well outspoken advocate for morals, justice and unity. What about Martin Luther King? Martin Luther King Jr. was raised in the Baptist faith and joined his family's church, Ebenezer Baptist, at age five, but his commitment to Christianity deepened through his theological education and the influence of educators like Benjamin E. Mays. It takes faith to make a great leader. Faith in God to make someone able to do the impossible. Class no matter what your upbringing you must receive the knowledge of Jesus Christ. That knowledge is hope and inspiration. It tells you to love your neighbor as yourself. It tells you to not be afraid of predicaments. It tells you how to be assured in your faith. It tells you how to love someone who done you so wrong. It tells you to be bold for justice. It tells you do something that may not seem right but turns out alright. You cannot just stop doing good. You cannot stop achieving for righteousness. You got to go higher. You got to go deeper. You got to continue until it is finished, done and over. And there is always something bigger to climb, something lower to go, just look to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Dad's Program
I usually never tell the story of my brother. My brother was wild and out of control. He would let nothing stop him. He was usually the favorite. And he did not like being told what to do. My brother got into a lot of trouble being that way. Like the old saying goes a hard head makes a soft bottom probably because all those spankings from Mom and Dad. My brother would always try to find a way out of that. It's like he would come up with some plan, some scheme, or some lie. And Mom and Dad would see straight through that. I never took advice from my brother because he always was the one doing something that would make Mom and Dad angry. And I tried to be the good one. I also tried to be the smart one. I wanted to make Mom and Dad proud of me. I know that seem a little vain but that's what I want my parents to think of me. My brother did not care. My brother always had an aggressive issue or tantrums. He was like the opposite of me. And everyone knew that and even everyone would say that. I like the good reputation while my brother like the bad reputation. We were brothers and even DNA could prove that but we were so different. I think it's because my brother was angry about being the younger. He did not like being treated dumbly. And he despised being treated like a child. So he would fight back doing dumb things that made him look grown. Mom and Dad would warn him until he did something that had to be punished. And I think they knew he was just trying their patience. Mom and Dad even threatened sending him to bordering school, which they eventually did. And then they found out that he signed up for the Military too. And then they found out that he loved the military and being away from them. So I was treated like the only child and I enjoyed taking care of my parents. And I begin a family of my own, Mom and Dad helped take care of their grandchildren. And Mom and Dad almost forgot about my brother. And this happened for many years, my children started to grow up and they asked me if I had a brother. And I felt guilty and begin asking Mom and Dad about my brother. Mom and Dad said that my brother stop writing years ago. And that they were not worried about him because they received no bad news from the military. And so I asked if he wrote letters. And Mom and Dad gave me the stacks of letters, they were afraid to read them and worry about his health. I read the letters and found out everything about my brother. My brother had a family and many children. He loved living overseas. He found faith in God. He found hope and love. He was changed. He was cured. And he planned on coming back but he did not hear from us. So he thought we did not want to be bothered with him again and that was the last letter. And just after weeks of reading, those letters that were sought for many years, Dad had a major stroke. And Mom was with him in the hospital, it happened after I called to talk to him. And so I took my family to the hospital and there was my brother. And we talked and he found out from Mom who called him because she believed that my father would never recovered. And Mom interrupted us and said we better say our last goodbyes. And so my brother rushed in and said Dad I am sorry and I love you. And I said I love you. And Dad said love ya. Then he died and Mom included me at Dad's funeral. She thought my brother did not want to do anything. My brother took the mic to say his last goodbyes and sung Grateful by John P. Kee. And my brother's family stood up and Mom cried and I cried and so did my family. And the family was back together, Mom loved hugging my brother and she hugged me too

Apart of a Family
The Struggles were a big family. And there were many of them. They knew what it was like during hard times. And they knew what it was like during good times. They had many things that they've gone through but it did not stop them. The Struggles kept on moving forward. They kept on doing and they kept on moving forward. They were determined folks. And they did not let nothing stop them. And they would met up with each other. They would talk about their problems. They would solved each other problems. No matter what, Struggles never gave up on life. They were always ready. They were always eager. They were earnest people and fervent people. And they did not mind the challenges that life brought their way. They were prepared and able. They were hopeful. And they never gave up. It was like it was in their blood for a challenge. And they were held strongly together by their matriarch. She kept them strong and able. She kept them hopeful and enduring. She was the source of wisdom and strength. She never disappoints. And if she could not make them think better it was her cooking that brought them together. She could cook just about anything that soothes the soul. She knew exact what would make them at ease. She knew exactly what would take their mind off of their problem and make them focus on what they need to focus. And just everytime they had holiday meals everyone was into the prayer before meals usually hoping for their favorite food to be cook. And it usually was as long as the matriarch was alive and well. But it happened that the matriarch of the Struggles died, she died suddenly because of old age. And many wondered about the family, the Struggles were in for a big struggle. They were not prepared for this. They were not ready for this. It seemed like a major disaster to the family. And the family grieved 30 days after the funeral, many tried to console them but they could not be console. They ate her food but they missed her all the more because it was not like hers. The matriarch's children were greatly disturb and so they talked privately. They tried to work out their issues. They talk on and on while their children played and had fun. They knew that their family was broken. They knew that they could not fix it easily. They were still hurting over their family. They thought their mother had many years left but she did not and it broke them. Then Elder Struggles brought in the pastor of the family church and he prayed. He prayed for the children. He prayed that they healed. He prayed that they be no longer broken. And he prayed for hours over the family. And something happened, the children brought in their children. And they begin to sing We're all apart of God's family by Hezekiah Walker. And many cried like at the funeral, then the children of the matriarch begin testifying about what God has done for them during their struggle. And many kept on humming or crying. And the pastor interrupted the testifying and he prayed out loud over the family. He prayed over the children's children. And he prayed for a long time. And they were relieved. Then he said, God brought you through this, not me. Give Him glory. You see she did not leave you with nothing. She left you with faith. She left you with hope. She left you most importantly with love. Don't let your grief get the best of you. God was with you during your struggles. God was caring for you even in the present. And if you allow him to, he will see you through everyday of your life. Be encouraged people beloved people. And refused to go back, refused to turn around. And they hugged each other and told each other that they loved each other. And once again the memory of the matriarch brought them together.

The Price of my Love
I want you to go higher. I want you to go deeper. I want you to meet your destiny. I want you to know love. I want you to be something Church. There are times you are gonna be tested. There are times you are gonna be tried. Tried even on every side. And nobody oh nobody can see you through but Him. And the church clapped their hands and shouted. I mean there where times that I did not think I could make it. There were times that I could not pass the test but He did it for me. Times where I could not go on but I found the strength in Him. And that is what he would do for you. And everyone said Amen. And Pastor Judge was right at the door of the church shaking hands and encouraging each member. And then there was this man, this young man that called Pastor Judge mother and she honestly did not know him. Junior was his name. He kept calling her mother and the deacons escorted him out of the church. And Pastor Judge was troubled that this young man kept calling her his mother. And the Head Deacon asked the Pastor if they should press charges and she said no, the Spirit did not tell him if I should. I honestly don't know the man. I never met him before. And Pastor Judge put together her hands to pray at her office's desk. And the Head Deacon left. Then Pastor Judge prepared for another sermon. And she was writing about love and she was into it as a deacon knock. She kept on because she was into the writing. And he kept trying to interrupt because the church needed to close. It was late. And she said as she took off her glasses, Even if you have the voice of an angel, even if you move mountains without love it is meaningless. Then she questioned the deacon and he could not answer so he just walk away. And she said Because I love this church. I love my work. I love the Lord that is why I must stay. And she eventually left before the deacons left. And a young man called to her again. And she cried but she did not know why. She thought but could not understand. And he kept saying Mom. Then she just left because she did not know what to do saying I am not your mother. The deacon drove Pastor Judge home. And he repeated halfway through the drive, even if you have the voice of an angel, even if you move a mountain without love it is meaningless. Then he pull into her driveway saying Pastor you are missing something, that is all I am saying. And Pastor Judge said I get it ok, Thank you Deacon. So Pastor Judge went into the sidedoor, walk up the steps and got into her house safely. And the deacon drove away. That night the voice of the young man Junior echo through her heart and mind. It echo through her soul. And she read 2 Corinthians again and again. And then she finally broke down and said Father what am I missing? Show me. And she got up stairs in her house and went to bed. And she dreamed of that young man but he was a boy. And she went through all her life wondering. And then she woke up. And she called deacon and said that's my baby, that's my boy. I thought he was dead. I thought I aborted him but I did not. It was a longtime ago. I thought he was dead. So fourteen days went by, then weeks. And the young man came again at the end of service, and Pastor Judge said Even if you have the voice of an angel, even if you move a mountain without love it is meaningless. Junior you are my son. I don't know how. I don't know why but you are my son. God said you are my son. And he said you paid for me Mom. You paid for my care. You paid for my education. You gave your hard earning money just so I could be safe. And you did it at no charge. I love you Mom. And Pastor Judge shocked as Junior hugged her. And the church applauded. Pastor Judge made him a minister at Love Community Church.
