12-Year-Old Murderer Set Free Age 19
Summary-- Convicted of murder at age 12, Jamarion Lawhorn was fed up with life after enduring horrific abuse from his mother and stepfather. He hoped police would kill him or “take him away” from the abuse. Now 19 years old, Jamarion was released from the juvenile facility he had called home for the past 7 years. Jamarion’s mother and stepfather were charged with child abuse but served just weeks each on the conviction.

Timothy Coggins Lynching Murder Solved 35-Years Later
On October 5, 1983, Georgia police found the mutilated body of 23-year-old Timothy Coggins underneath an oak tree known as “the Hanging Tree” in a poor white town called Sunny Side -about 45-minutes from Atlanta. He had been stabbed dozens of times, an X like the one decorating the Confederate battle flag carved into his abdomen. Coggins had been assaulted and dragged behind a vehicle before the killers left him for dead beneath the tree.

Peter Scully: The World’s Worst Pedophile
In February 2015, Australian-native, 52-year-old Peter Scully, was arrested in the Philippines, charged with horrific crimes against several children. Police charged Scully with rape, torture, and murder. Soon after the police began investigating Scully, they discovered he was the ringleader in an online pedophile network largely invested in the production and distribution of violent child pornography on the dark web. The police officers, judge, and prosecutors in the case agreed that Peter Scully is the worst pedophile in history, committing some of the most horrific acts against kids they ever heard of.

Houston Man Infects Infant & Teen With HIV After Sexual Assaults
In October 2014, 33-year-old Houston man David Richard Wilson was taken into custody after he sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend’s children, a 14-year-old girl, and a 23-month-old baby, infecting them both with HIV. The teenager was pregnant with Wilson’s child at the time of his arrest.

Better Get Your Baby Before the Alligators Do
Summary: Enraged when his girlfriend ended their relationship and told him their 9-month-old son, Charles Jr. might not be his, Charles Tyson slammed the baby onto a dirt road, swung him head first onto a car hood, and then tossed him off a bridge into a canal. He told the baby's mother "You better get your baby before the alligators do." Charles Edward Tyson Jr. died from his injuries.

Sophie Lancaster & Boyfriend Attacked Because They Were “Goth”
Summary: Robert Maltby and Sophie Lancaster had dated for about three years. One night as the couple walked through a park headed home, a group of teens attacked Robert. Sophie stepped in to defend her boyfriend. When she did, the teens stamped on her head and jumped up and down on her body. Sophie died from her injuries in the hospital 13-days after the attack. Five people were charged with their deaths, but charges against three of the teens were dismissed.
