Call me an Adult
Hi I am thirty years old and this is my first car. Yup, I used my parents car for the longest time, then I used my parents car and I used my parents car and then I used my sister’s car. Some of you maybe dropping jaws on how selfish I could be? I am using my family’s cars like that! I always paid for gas, I’ve taken them to the car wash, I took good care of them and I have not been in any accidents. Yes, my dad did pay for a lot of the maintenance for them, but he did buy them. They were not my cars. I have only driven Volovos for my entire driving career. Until it was time for me to get a car. There are a few reasons for this purchase. Even now this car is not mine because technically it is mine and my husband’s car as he did contribute to paying for it. We didn’t even take out a loan, which now we can’t under any circumstance go out for food and I think it’s totally worth it.

hmm…here is a random bedtime thought. So, I have been trying to get affiliate marketing to work for me and I’ll be honest, it’s a very slow start. I have no followers on Pinterest, it’s so difficult to get any traffic going, sure this month I have 70 clicks to all my links, but I kept wondering why so little? Is it because I am Canadian and most products only Canadians have access to and a lot of traffic comes from the states? I thought my pins were pretty and visually appealing. I am creative, so I thought I would be okay at this, but I am not even doing okay. I’ve got one sale since November? I know, I have to be doing something wrong. Today, is the day I figured it out. I was doing it wrong, because I had no idea I could just easily put a link in by giving it a title such as Beautiful Bestsellers and they create an HTML, which I can use and it will bring whoever to my store front.

Dry Skin at Holt Renfrew
For some reason while laying in my bed I had a memory come across my mind, maybe it’s because my mom is on a different continent at this time or I just miss her. Anyways, I remember this like it was yesterday, so I thought to myself why not share this memory. By reading this story so far you’d think it was a nice memory with my mom, but it’s not. It is my first memory of being offended to the point of speachless. So anyway let’s get on with the story. I had made plans with a friend to meet up at the mall and this was prior to me learning how to drive, so I had to rely on city transit. It was a regular cold winter day where the city was grey and gloom and the air was so dry as a chinook wind was sweeping through the city. Here’s a fact about me I always figured better be early than late to anything and this mall we were meeting at was across the city so I arrive nice and early, some of you may be thinking fifteen to twenty minutes early. That would be considered a joke I showed up an hour and a half early. So now I could wander and explore the stores myself before meeting up with my friend. I obviously stopped by chapters, which is now Indigo I believe but at the time it was still chapters and Starbucks my two favourite places to be; the smell of coffee and untouched pages of the bookstore are my favourite smells. I looked at a few chapter book considered buying one or a few, but I left empty handed (this was back when my Starbucks addiction was under control) so I kept on wandering and I saw the store Holt Renfrew and see if I could guess the price tag. It was a game I would play since I knowingly could not afford anything in that store; I would stop by and see if I could guess the ridiculously high price of the items. I spotted a dress with sequins in my head I guessed 564.00 dollars I flipped the price tag and I was only a thousand two hundred dollars off. I looked at the materials of the dress and quietly laughed to myself. My hands were noticeably dry and I looked in my purse for the hand lotion I swore I had, I only had a lip balm, which I then took out of my purse and applied. I looked around the store and found the cosmetics department not thinking to buy anything but hoping someone was standing there giving out free samples of lotion as they do from time to time. I approached the cosmetics aisle and I looked around hoping someone would bother me for a free sample and no one appeared yet, which was unusual as I am usually dodging them and avoiding eye contact at all costs. Finally, an older lady she must have been in her sixties with red scarf and red lipstick approached me.

Resin Making
I am proud to say that I am a crafty person, I spend so much time and effort making resin. I even made some and gave them out as presents to my co-workers, the nice thing about resin is that is lasts a while and you can make so many interesting designs with it. You can create art or even practical things such as key chains, and coasters. It is such a unique art that I think is so relaxing to work on. I've never made anything larger than a tray though, but it is also hard to perfect. The ratios need to be exact otherwise it will not work and there's no way to fix it, so start with something small, if you do decide to pursue this hobby. Fourth Wing
It's been a while since I have been able to sit down and read a book. Finally, when the opportunity presented itself, I convinced myself to buy the book Fourth Wing. Why? Well, everyone was talking about it. It had dragons in it and all the reviews were just raving how good the book was and I had a bit of fear entering my body because "Twilight" was also well liked by readers. After reading the first sentence of that book, I said "is that even a sentence?" out loud and I put it down and never touched it again. Most fantasy books have a lot of unneeded jargon in my opinion, so here I thought I would have the same situation. I started reading it and so far the sentences were making sense. I think what I liked most about the beginning is that it covered no details on the language used like "threshing" I had no idea what that was, but as I read on, I learned more and more about this world where humans bond to their dragons. The complexity of each character is well outlined and defined, which I lack in my writing. I appreciate how much thought was put into each character. From Violet to Xaden, Dain and Rhiannon they have differences in them and have their own fears and personal lives that are mentioned. Each character even minor have a lot of depth to them, which is rare to see. Next, each chapter has a fun fact about the world of Navarre and other regions as well.

Ski Weekend
The snow looked like whipped cream placed onto the trees, creating a hushed silence in the forest. The snow was knee-deep, yet the air was not frigid like yesterday, it was a perfect snow day. The sun glistened against the pale white ground creating a spectacle of sparkles. The beauty of nature was captivating, the only bad part was Sarah and Liam were in the ski resort unable to leave their rented cabin. Sarah stood by the window, and she held her steaming cup of mocha, her favorite. She still wore her snow pants and toque even though it was warm in the cabin. Liam, her brother was in the single lounge chair that the cabin had reading his book, while sipping on his Camomile tea.

Feeling Lost
I honestly have no idea how I got here. For some reason, I am now sitting underneath a bed, well I do know. My loving owner was frolicking with her boyfriend in bed and I was on the pillow because she had me in her hands swiping and playing with her Candy Crush game on me, then, sure enough, this guy came over and she just threw me up on her pillow and they started going at it. She could have at least put me on her nightside table or her desk or anywhere else, but then bam I was tossed down by him, and here I am just laying on the floor. They even laughed as I fell and they continued to make out. She did not even have the courtesy to stop and pick me up. Doesn't she know I am expensive? I am probably the singular most expensive object in her room and here I am lying down with all this dog fur, dust, and crumbs. The bed sure does squeak a lot, wish it was not so loud! Oh goodness! A sock on me!! Gross, it’s his sweaty sock it really stinks like worse than her gym locker bag! Bleh! Of course she won’t stop now until the deed is done. Now I have to be here with this sock! It’s just one thing after another! This is truly awful experience I am usually tucked away in a pocket or even in her wallet. I miss those funny credit cards and gift cards. After the bed stopped squeaking, the room was silent, then not until much later did the light in her room turned on. Oh maybe she is here for me?

The Struggles of an INFP
The Myers Briggs personality test I have completed time and time again. Mostly because I was in different phases of my life, but I finally found the personality, which I most fit into and that is INFP. INFP stands for introverted, intuitive, feeling, and prospecting. It makes sense to me and now that I know my personality, I can understand myself better. There are some aspects, which do not resonate with me at all such as "pretending to be someone they aren’t" I have no difficulty becoming someone else to please everyone around me, yes, I do find it exhausting pretending to be someone I am not, yet I have done a lot of that throughout high school and maybe some college years. I do not particularly like drinking, but in college I pretended that I did like to drink, and I pretended to love going clubbing, when in fact the very thought of it made me squeamish, yet I still did all of those things.
