Within This Bizarre Planet of Ours

"still, we remain"

Within our world,

this strange, spinning place,

where beauty and madness

share the same breath,

we wake each day

to stories that don’t make sense.

A bizarre planet,

where kindness exists

but cruelty often speaks louder.

Where streets remember footsteps

of both the innocent

and the guilty.

Where headlines grow darker,

crime rising like a tide

no one seems to hold back.

And still,

we live here.

We try here.

We hope here.

In corners of chaos,

voices rise,

pastors clutching their Bibles,

preaching peace,

praying for calm

in a world that won’t sit still.

They speak of light,

of grace,

of something better beyond the noise,

yet outside those doors,

the madness continues.

Sirens replace hymns.

Fear walks freely.

And the strange rhythm

of this planet

never slows.

Still, we remain.

We build lives

in the middle of uncertainty.

We love

despite the risk.

We dream

even when reality shakes beneath us.

Because maybe

that is what makes us human.

To exist,

in a world that feels broken,

and still find a reason

to keep going.

This bizarre planet of ours

may never make sense,

But somehow,

we survive it.
