The lights went out. The distance didn't.

For an hour, the lights went out.

Everyone noticed. Nothing said.

🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏

The lights go off.

Nothing dimmed.

Everyone -

already sittingΒ

In the dark.

🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏

The glowing screen

Of a quiet phone.

Someone waits for it to ring.

Scrolls. Nothing.

The same glow.

A quiet phone.

🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏

A flood of postsΒ -

Protect the Earth.

Candles burn in -

Curated darkness.

Silence. Styled.Β

Soft.

🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏 🌍 🌎 🌏

A silent phone.

No ring.

No one speaks.

The lights -

Return.

Nothing dimmed.
