My eyes say it all

The twinkle, in my eye when I smile at you,

Tears running, down

My face when you are gone

The smile inside, them when you are here

Holding me close

The intensity, in them like fire and ice when we are hot and cold like summer and winter

When I’m in love

you can see, the passion and lust for you

When we have anger or disappointment they walk a way with me and never look back

My eyes say it all,

when they have been hurt by someone they love or trust

you can see the razors, inside that want to cut through you, for the pain you’ve caused when you said, you’d stay but you leave anyway

My eyes say it all,

when they’ve been healed by self love and self care

you can see the sunset rising inside, when they’ve conquered the heart ache and pain they had suffered, and have moved on with a smile inside them because they are happy with in themselves

My eyes say it all

I love myself again

This is the best poem I’ve read of yours. You see, you’re going to get better and better. Keep writing, Sis.
