There was a time I use 2 smile…
Before I saw the world was vile.
I touched the radio, changed the dial,
Set my tone, arranged my style.
Adventure took me the extra mile
Until I fell into the wild.
I faced the truth in pure denial:
Things might be ugly for a while.
Before the pain that broke the child,
Before I entered the wrong aisles,
Before my vines were turned to vinyl,
My dreams turned leaves all in a pile,
There was a time… I use 2 smile.
