Hello, I’ll be your demon sent to welcome you to hell
The Devil soon will greet you for the stories you can tell
Like how you never questioned him on all the lies he told
And, how you ended up in here and not on streets of gold
No one knows the scriptures like the Devil does himself
He knew you’d never test those Bible verses on your shelf
His influence grew stronger every time you ran from God
You only trusted in yourself, that strategy was flawed
The Holy Spirit beckons all, to spare you from this hell
But Satan had a job to do, you’re proof he did it well
Our mission was “deception,” just to plant that seed of doubt
When Satan gives us orders you can bet they’re carried out
It worked with Adam, worked with Eve, it took some time to hone
He found it easy teaching man to trust themselves alone
See, God created man to share His Kingdom and His heart
The Devil knew deceiving man would tear God’s heart apart
You gave us total access, thus allowing him to boast:
“Eternal separation from the God Who loved you most”
So, welcome neighbor, hear me well, the judgment in my voice
There’s no one here by accident, you all just made a choice
