The Shadow in the Mirror
“When your reflection stops copying… and starts leading.”
Every night at exactly 2:17 AM, Adam woke up without fail.
At first, he blamed stress, overthinking, and endless scrolling.
But then, something strange began to happen.
His mirror… started showing him differently.
Not instantly—just for a second longer than it should.
A delay that felt wrong.
One night, he waved at his reflection.
The reflection didn’t wave back… immediately.
It smiled first.
A cold, knowing smile Adam had never made.
His heart pounded as silence filled the room.
“Just imagination,” he whispered to himself.
But deep down, he knew it wasn’t.
The next night, he avoided the mirror completely.
Still, he felt watched… studied.
As if something had learned him.
At 2:17 AM, the mirror cracked loudly.
Adam rushed to look—forgetting his fear.
This time, the reflection moved first.
And Adam… followed.

Nightfox Reports: Reach Out and Touch Someone’s Mind
With my typical wide view I have spotted some more strangeness in the news as reports have been appearing across the country for the last week or two of people getting into accidents after running out into the street and attempting to attack passing cars with their bare hands or whatever improvised weapons they could grab. Several of them have been killed, struck down by the car they attacked or another vehicle streaking by. In a couple of cases people were struck by trains while apparently attack the tracks or the train cars with axes and shovels. One elderly woman was struck by a plane at Heathrow Airport as it took off. Witnesses say she was swinging at the landing gear with a garden hoe.
