The Mirror That Reflected Futures
The Reflection Only Changed When Hearts Did

An old mirror in an abandoned inn showed travelers not their current selves, but who they could become. A bitter man saw a gentle elder. A young artist saw a masterful creator. A greedy merchant saw himself giving freely. Some feared these visions; others embraced them. The mirror cracked the day a devoted mother looked into it and saw nothing different. Villagers understood: she needed no change. A note appeared beneath the mirror: “The future begins the moment you believe you deserve it.”

The Wind That Learned to Listen
For centuries, the wind rushed across cliffs without caring whom it disturbed. One day it overheard a lonely shepherd talking to the sky. The shepherd confessed secrets, dreams, and fears. The wind, moved, carried his voice to the valley where villagers heard and responded with kindness. Over time, the wind learned to transport words gently, not scatter them. When the shepherd died, the wind whispered his stories every spring. People said the breezes felt warmer, as if carrying a friend’s voice with love.

Life will find a way
One cocoon twitches; my screaming must have disturbed it. It’s followed by a sound like the shaking of a cobra’s tail. A dry rattle sends a shiver down my spine. The rest of the cocoons respond the same way, as if communicating with one another; the cave fills with rattling. The glow becomes stronger as they vibrate and bathes the cave floor in an eerie blue light.

Ghostly Happenings in Colorado
Disturbed Spirits In Denver, an expanse of greenery, Cheesman Park comes with a macabre history since it was once a burial ground known as Mount Prospect Cemetery established by General William Larimer in 1858. The job of exhuming bodies began, and some were left behind resting beneath the park. However, the ghostly spirits don’t wish to rest in peace beneath the park, and visitors here have felt cold touches, seen ghostly children playing at night, and heard a singing lady who disappears when approached.
